How to Become a Bounty Hunter in Oklahoma

Oklahoma allows bail bondsmen, employees of bondsmen, and peace officers to act as bail enforcement agents in the state. Since bounty hunters are often employees of bondsmen, bounty hunters are allowed to act as fugitive recovery agents in the state. Current guidelines require persons performing bail enforcement duties to procure a certified copy of the bail bond and deliver it along with the defendant to a sheriff in the arresting county.
